How to get Kotalion

Steam confirms that getting Kotalion unlocks Get 'em All!. A current community repair thread includes a player finding it from a dirty card, but no official guaranteed drop, pity counter, or fixed location is published. Once obtained, the August 27 update says Kotalion stays with you forever.

Can you sell Kotalion?

No. The official August 27 update removed Kotalion from the sell flow, fixing the repeated-resale money loop. Kotalion now remains in the collection permanently after you obtain it.

Current money-route answerDo not plan an infinite-money farm around selling and reacquiring Kotalion. Use repeat trash heaps, eligible duplicate-card Level Up exchanges, and surplus-card sales instead.

Collection information

Kotalion has its own Steam achievement and is tracked separately from the blue, white, red, and purple set achievements. The current screenshot evidence supports 40 base cards plus this one special card—not four confirmed special cards.

Use the collection tracker to mark the entry when it appears in your own binder. Tracker data remains in your browser and can be exported as JSON.

Kotalion value

Kotalion no longer has a usable sell route in the current build, so an old resale price is not an actionable value. Its current value is collection progress and the Get 'em All! achievement.

Is there a foil version?

Public sources confirm foil cards as a collection category, but they do not publish a card-by-card foil checklist. Use the tracker only for a foil copy you personally observe, and see the foil card guide for the documented limits.

About the card visualThe database uses a neutral set marker instead of reproducing the card illustration. This keeps lookups lightweight and avoids redistributing artwork from the paid supporter pack.
