Six fixed figurine spots
| # | Landmark | How to reach it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Behind the trash compactor | Walk around the machine that accepts garbage bags and check the ground directly behind it. |
| 2 | Behind Jenny’s office | Circle behind the office and look beside the tires near the back corner. |
| 3 | Beside the garage | Check the outer garage wall by the stacked tires and green bin. |
| 4 | Behind the large central trash pile | Search the grass and fence side behind the big pile; clearing part of the pile makes the pickup easier to see. |
| 5 | Under the crashed truck’s hood | Go to the truck through the right-side fence and interact with the hood to open it. |
| 6 | On the office roof under the antenna | Reach the upper level from a trash pile or the inclined beams, move onto the balcony, then climb to the roof. |
The order is flexible. Start with the ground-level pickups, clear enough of the central pile to expose its hiding place, then finish with the truck hood and roof. Guidexon notes that the figurine identity at a spot can vary between players.
Figurines 7–12 come from trash heaps
- Pick up every loose collectible before opening the next heap.
- Clear the active heap completely so small objects are not hidden under bags or dirty cards.
- Ask Jenny for another heap and repeat the sweep.
- Use the 1, 5, 9, and 12 achievement notifications as milestone checks.
Prevent missing or disappearing figurines
A Steam thread opened on August 24 reports that cards and figurines left on the ground can disappear when the next trash heap is activated. One player later saw the same figure spawn again, but that is not a guaranteed recovery method.
Finish the current cleanup, collect every visible card, tape, outfit, and figurine, and only then request another heap. The August 21 official update separately says a valuable item thrown into the compactor can be picked up again; that fix does not establish that loose objects are safe during a heap change.
Figurine FAQ
How many figurines are in KOTAMON?
Steam’s I Need a Bigger Shelf achievement requires 12 collectible figurines.
Are all 12 figurines hidden at fixed locations?
No. Multiple screenshot guides agree on six map pickups; the remaining figurines are found randomly while clearing trash heaps.
Can a figurine disappear?
A current Steam discussion reports loose collectibles disappearing when the next trash heap is activated. Pick up every collectible before requesting another heap.
Did the figurine drop rate change?
Yes. The August 22 official update says the chance of finding collectible figurines was increased, but it gives no percentage.
